1. The Studio
The Studio is a stone building of which “The Studio” makes up the ground floor. You park directly in front of the 70m2 cottage. In the living room you’ll find a sofa set with lounge area, a 55″ TV and blackout curtains for true privacy.
A small kitchen with ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, air fryer, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine immediately give a homey feeling. The stylish Smeg refrigerator is a real eye-catcher, so nice!
You can eat and drink coffee in the small coffee corner, a dining table and 2 comfortable chairs are waiting for you.
And you have to see the luxurious, new bathroom!!!
A 17m2 bathroom! With a 1m x 1.60m shower with rain shower! A guest once said: WOW, you could dance in here!! Absolutely right, go ahead! 🙂
There’s a king-size bed in the bedroom and the large wardrobe ensures you can bring enough clothes even for a longer stay.
Or would you rather do laundry in between?
No problem, washing machine and dryer are in the utility room. It can be reached through the bathroom. In the utility room there’s also an ironing board and iron, just in case…
Through the bedroom you walk onto the private terrace and into the fenced garden. On the terrace there’s a dining table and 4 garden chairs, and we’ve now also placed a lounge sofa on the grass area.

The Garden House
Our beautiful and romantic Bed&Breakfast is located in a unique location, for overnight stays 2 km from the German border. Our property is situated between the meadows where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views.
The “Garden House” is located in the middle of the old, fairy-tale garden.
You stay in the atmospheric, detached cottage with 1 large, luxury room, private bathroom, and private entrance.
The Garden House has a glass facade of which 3 parts can open, allowing you to enjoy the abundant natural light, truly experience the feeling of outdoor living and the most beautiful view of the pond and garden. You can wonderfully unwind here and regain your balance.
With a cup of tea or coffee by the pond, or relaxing on your terrace, everywhere you’ll find lovely spots to relax. Enjoy birdsong and the beautiful sunrise, or entertain yourself with a delicious cheese and charcuterie board on the terrace overlooking the pond.
The surroundings are quiet and very suitable for cyclists and walkers.
In short, you can fully enjoy the Garden House and outdoor living during a stay at De Drentse Rust. We have designed our B&B with great passion and invite you to come and relax wonderfully.
Add breakfast to your booking?
We’ve established that not everyone wants to have breakfast. Coffee and tea are available in the Garden House anyway and some guests prefer to bring their own sandwich or shake. Fine! It also saves on costs.
You can add a fresh breakfast for 10 euros per person per day. We then serve rolls, butter, homemade jam from fruits from our garden, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, fresh fruit salad and scrambled eggs at the desired time in the Garden House. Room service :-). That’s luxury!
We naturally also accommodate our vegetarian/vegan guests, no problem, just let us know when booking.
Bed&Breakfast Overnight Stay Drenthe
Chalet Erm
Would you rather live larger and spend your vacation in a chalet in a park with old trees and close to a beach?
Then our vacation home in Erm is the right choice for you! A large, bright living room, a large veranda, rain shower, sauna and 300m2 garden are waiting for you to settle in with a drink and relax.
Of course your dogs are welcome here too. Because the garden is only fenced 1m high, we don’t want large dogs please, as we cannot guarantee safety. But 2 small dogs are very welcome!
In the summer months (June, July, August) the chalet is available for weekly rental. The other months you can book Fri-Mon or midweek Mon-Fri.
