Welcome! Make yourself at home and enjoy the peace and quiet. To make your stay as pleasant as possible for you and for us, we have a few house rules.

Check-in
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. It is possible to arrange a different time in consultation. For example, you can arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and pick up the key. Please discuss this with us.
Check-out
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Depending on availability, a later check-out time until 7:00 PM can be arranged in consultation with us, for an additional half-day rate. If you would like to check out late, please discuss it with us. We have a pin terminal, so you can “pin” the half-day fee.
Key Management
Upon arrival, you will receive one key for your stay. You are responsible for locking the doors of your accommodation and turning off the lights. Please remember to return the key when checking out.
Lost Key
In case of loss or failure to return a key, B&B De Drentse Rust will charge you €100.00. So please be careful.
Breakfast
At an agreed time, we will place breakfast in an agreed location. This can be on the terrace or in your room, please discuss it with us. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace in the sun :-), that’s possible!
Breakfast includes a well-filled basket with fresh bread rolls and as many organic products as possible, homemade jam from fruit from the garden and eggs from our chickens. Of course, we take into account allergies or a special diet such as low carb, gluten-free or vegan. Just mention it when making the reservation.
Lunch
You can order a packed lunch for the next day from us for 10 Euros per person.
Bed linen and towels
For longer stays, towels and bed linen will be changed as desired. These costs are included in the price unless other agreements have been made.
Ensuring hygiene
It is not allowed to sleep in the beds in the rooms without sheets and pillowcases.
In the event that non-removable stains occur in the mattress, duvet, bedspread and decorative cushions or towels during the overnight stay, B&B De Drentse Rust will charge the customer for the resulting cleaning costs and/or costs of replacing the materials.
Prices
Prices include gas, water, electricity, bed, bath and kitchen linen, and use of coffee and tea. The use of the parking facility is free.
In the unlikely event that the services do not function or do not function properly during your stay, this does not entitle you to a refund of all or part of the room rate owed.
Parking
You can park your car in our driveway or in front of our property. Parking is at your own risk. We are not liable for theft and/or any form of damage.
Noise
We ask our guests to refrain from being noisy. All music – and any other sound – produced in any way must be adjusted to room volume so that no noise nuisance is caused to us and our neighbors. In any case, there must be silence from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please pay attention to this, also in the driveway and on the private terrace.
Visitors
You may receive guests, but you must inform us in advance. Use of the bed & breakfast by third parties is not permitted.
Pets
Unfortunately, your pet is not allowed.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the Garden House at B&B De Drentse Rust. You are allowed to smoke on the private terrace. Please keep the terrace free of cigarette butts, there is an ashtray, please use it.
Alcohol and (soft) drugs
We do not appreciate alcohol abuse. Enjoy, but drink in moderation. We live here and want to keep things fun between you and us.
It is therefore strictly forbidden to possess, use and/or trade drugs. We will always call the police.
Open fire
No candles may be burned in the garden house and no other open fire may be used.
Damage
B&B De Drentse Rust is in no way liable for any form of damage, loss or theft that you have or experience during your stay.
If damage is caused to the accommodation or its furnishings during your stay, you must inform the host or hostess.
